Yes, Prime Minister
Our spring 2025 production will be the political comedy 'Yes, Prime Minister' by Antony Jay & Jonathan Lynn. Directed by Jamie Barker
The UK is in crisis: debt is spiralling, unemployment s on the rise, and the fragile coalition cabinet is at breaking point. But salvation may exist in the form of a complex pipeline deal with the oil rich country of Kumranistan. Mayhem at Chequers ensues as the Foreign Minister of Kumranistan makes a seriously compromising offer. Moral considerations collide with the economic future of the nation. Prime Minister Jemma Hacker is forced to navigate a maze of government crises, diplomatic challenges, and the cunning plans of her civil servants. Can she stay in power, and for how long?
